What is brand identity design?
“Your brand is what other people say about you when you’re not in the room.”
Once the pens have been put down and the mouse clicks have ceased, your visual brand identity stands as a bastion amongst your competitors championing your company, your ethos and pushing forward to the next goal. It is therefore hugely important to spend the time with a designer to take all of those elements and create a unique identity that will represent you and what you stand for once you’ve “left” the room. This silent employee never sleeps, never clocks out and never deviates from your brand strategy, the least you can do is make it the best it can be, this is were we can help you.
How long will my branding take?
This question often comes up and honestly is one which at the outset neither designer or client knows. Obviously a deadline or launch date can dictate the length of the process, but what happens when there are no concrete deadlines and the design process is given ample time to guide your branding.
Well in truth it all comes down to your long term goals and needs. This can take anywhere from a few weeks, a couple of months or upwards of a year and beyond. Your brand is unique to you and no two clients are ever the same. Time is imperative to a successful brand, how much time… well that is the beauty of it, inspiration could hit quickly (Paula Scher’s est. $1.5m napkin sketch that lead to Citi Banks logo, is a fantastic example) or the process can take longer, the main thing is to get it right. It is after all your brand.
